Terms of Service & Supply Warranty
Standard International Steel Trade Terms | Ironex (Xingtai) Imp&Exp Co., Ltd.
1. Quotations & Contract Formation
All official proforma invoices (PI) and wholesale quotations issued by Ironex (Xingtai) Imp&Exp Co., Ltd. are subject to mutual confirmation. Steel market price quotes typically remain valid for 3-7 calendar days due to raw material exchange fluctuations (iron ore, coking coal, and alloy surcharges).
2. Quality Standards & Mill Certification (MTC)
100% of steel shipments exported by Ironex China are manufactured strictly in compliance with the agreed international standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, EN 10025, JIS G3101, DIN 17100, GB/T). Each batch is accompanied by an original **EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate** covering chemical composition and mechanical properties.
Buyers are entitled to appoint international inspection agencies (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Cotecna, TÜV) to perform on-site visual checks, dimensional measurements, and chemical spectrometry tests at the manufacturing mill or port of loading prior to vessel departure.
3. Quality Objections & Compensation Policy
As guaranteed in our corporate charter: “Once the products received by customer are found not to comply with the contract specifications, we will compensate the customer for all verified losses without hesitation.”
- Claim Timeline: Dimensional or surface objections must be reported within 30 days of container arrival at the destination port. Metallurgical performance claims must be submitted within 60 days.
- Resolution Options: Free expedited replacement in the next shipment, immediate commercial refund, or on-site joint inspection by an agreed surveyor.
4. Packaging, Shipping & Incoterms
Standard export seaworthy packaging is provided for all coils, pipes, and plates (anti-rust paper, steel strapping, protective edge rings, and wooden/steel pallets). Shipments are governed by Incoterms® 2020 (FOB, CFR, CIF, or DAP according to contract).
5. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Commercial agreements are governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) or an agreed neutral international arbitration tribunal.
